This 3D scanner application leverages your phone camera to capture the world around you and create detailed 3D models. By integrating the latest in 3D scanning technology with augmented/virtual reality capabilities, this app utilizes multiple photos of your environment to generate high-quality 3D models. Each image used in the reconstruction process is extracted from the real-time video of the AR/VR experience. Employing photogrammetry techniques for modeling, this 3D scanner enables users to examine their scans through a dedicated 3D viewer on their smartphones and even offers the option to upload models to an online viewer.
Equipped with color mesh technology that faithfully represents reality, users have the flexibility to utilize their models across various platforms such as CAD software, gaming applications, or even in the metaverse. Moreover, a wide range of 2D and 3D export formats, including pdf, jpg, obj, dae, gltf, and glb, are readily available for seamless integration with different tools. For those interested in physical manifestations, the app supports printing models using a 3D printer.
This efficient 3D scanner can swiftly digitize rooms or facilitate home modeling projects, including large flats or houses, enabling users to create detailed floor plans with ease. Furthermore, this scanner can harness the power of LiDAR or Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors for scanning purposes if compatible with your mobile device.
Upon completing the scanning process, users can conveniently add measurement points to any object within their scanned model to gauge distances, lengths, surfaces, or areas accurately. With this functionality at your disposal, there is no longer a need for traditional measuring tools like tape measures or laser meters; instead, you can seamlessly conduct measurements directly on the 3D model as if using a physical ruler.
